Pergola Installation
Follow the Installation Manual – Every pergola comes with an installation manual, outlining each stage of construction. Some of these instructions can be viewed on this page.

Simple Assembly Process
Easy-to-Follow Instructions – Each pergola kit comes with detailed assembly instructions for a hassle-free installation
Lightweight Fiberglass Material – Despite its superior strength, fiberglass is lightweight, making it easier to handle and position during installation

Secure Mounting for Long-Lasting Stability
We recommend mounting your pergola directly into concrete for maximum strength and durability. For installations on decks, ensure the lag bolts are long enough to anchor into the joists below the deck surface for added stability.

Pro Installation Tips for a Smooth Setup
Anchor the Column Properly – Raise the column about 8 inches off the ground using wooden blocks to easily guide the threaded rod into the anchor coupler. Have one person hold the column steady while another guides the rod into place and secures it
Align the Top Plate with Ease – When applying the top plate (or column cap), hold the plate and column together while guiding the threaded rod through the hole. Slightly tilt the column if needed for proper alignment
Avoid Over-Tightening – Do not overtighten the top nut. If the top plate begins to bow inward, loosen the nut slightly to prevent damage
Adjust Drill Tension – Set the clutch on your screwdriver or drill to prevent the self-tapping screws from bowing the fiberglass rafter supports, as the hollow parts can flex inward with too much tension
Deck Installation Tip – When using a deck plate, make sure the lag bolts penetrate the deck surface and securely anchor into the joists below. Additional joists may be needed for added support

⚠ Reminder: Always follow the specific installation manual included with your product for accurate assembly instructions.

Treatment and care

One of the biggest advantages of fiberglass pergolas is that they are extremely low-maintenance, especially compared to wood or vinyl alternatives. Built to withstand harsh weather conditions, fiberglass won't rot, crack, or warp, making it the perfect long-lasting solution for your outdoor space.

How to Properly Maintain Your Fiberglass Pergola

Regular Cleaning
Mild Soap & Water Wash – Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water to remove dirt, dust, and debris
Pressure Washing (Optional) – For deeper cleaning, a low-pressure power washer can be used to remove stubborn stains or pollen buildup
Avoid Harsh Chemicals – Stay away from abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the protective finish

Protecting the Surface Finish
Prevent Scratches – Be mindful when adding lighting or accessories. Use soft padding when mounting hardware to avoid scratching the surface

Structural Maintenance
Inspect Hardware Annually – Check bolts, anchors, and screws for any loosening or rust. Tighten as needed to maintain stability
Check for Moisture Build-Up – Although fiberglass is waterproof, check for proper drainage around the base to prevent standing water from damaging the concrete footings

Seasonal Care
Snow & Ice Removal – Gently remove heavy snow buildup with a soft brush or broom to avoid unnecessary weight on the structure. Avoid using metal shovels that can scratch the surface
Protect Against Extreme Heat – While fiberglass is heat-resistant, avoid placing heat sources like fire pits or grills too close to the structure to prevent surface damage
